       We have to go back to the beginning of the 1970’s for the release of this debut album a nothing crazy —in appearance only— and passionately orgiastic, where the burgundy brothers MARCŒUR knew how to make sound any noise and could, in a few deceptively innocuous and declaimed sentences more than sung, bring out from the everyday —our daily life— a tasty poetry, tinged with humor and a slightly bitter irony…

We can delight listen in loop to the juicy text of the chansong  {«C’est Raté, C’est Raté !»} opening this eponymous first album to convince himself that ALBERT MARCŒUR could afford anything and bewitch us with flexibility and accuracy ; So many caresses without laziness or politeness ← Reckless youthness…

    This second recording of ALBERT MARCŒUR places the level a notch above the first one, yet above high flight !

In the game of the comparisons, the exegetes evoked Frank Zappa, for the often unpredictable character of the inspirations of this creator freed from any inhibition, Robert Wyatt  also, probably by the home∼made aspect, this side «made do with what is at hand», minimalist if needed. We could reveal also and above all a strong link with the sound experiments of Henry Cow  whose cultural DNA seems systematically outside any marked out path… A new delight full of accomplice malice…

   Third of the name, fame ! Troublion, wolverine, minstrel… ALBERT MARCŒUR moreover suggests that «all the musics gulped down, stored since the youngest age, mix with all those who emerge today». He even specifies : «I tried to combine some of these links. I did not still understand how and why they met but i know that there are often meetings and that the discussions are livened up there»…

So much the better, it is precisely this animation and these muddled and noisy confrontations that, from the beginning, have been the charm of such a universe ← Diverse & transverse !

F.P.B. (Fourth Price Band) *

F.P.B.

      F.P.B. { short for Fourth Price Band } was one of the most influencial precursor band, from czech «punk» movement, formed in 1980 at Teplice —town bordering germany— by bassist, singer and poet Miroslav Wanek & his friend Petr Růžička, who improvised sort of «manager». These two amigos  were soon joined by drummer Milan Nový and, later, by guitarist Romek Hanzlík. This line∼up scoured nearly 40 concerts { including a unique & epic date at the polish Jarocin festival } until 1985, when Mirek & Romek joined and truly launched the stammering collective Už Jsme Doma…
In 1986, the «manager» tried to reboot (under the same name) with a new members around the original drummer, who broke up in 1987…

• Since 2008, Wanek & Hanzlík  let Už Jsme Doma play 21 songs from F.P.B. repertoire during exceptional, fusional passionate concerts…

      DANCE KENNEDYS was the real odyssey (2001) : A blurred improvised «live & direct» rehearsal suicidal session with no other intention∼pretention than to devour∼deverse one’s pleasure, scrambling, noisy (messy !) references∼influences —multiple rapid & intrepid 80’ sounds ; from the «End All Discrimination» recording of canadians Neos (fall 81)  to the «Soul Discharge» of japaneses Boredoms (summer 89)…— of three music lovers amigos { François L’Homer ← guitar & effects (with two amps, bass & guitar ones) + Orkhan Murat ← drums ; Both also playing in the line∼up & down Tear Of A Doll + Jello Biaphragm ← microphone }.

• Quickly done, badly done… Perfect tho.

Already 6 years that the sensitive edgy of the abrasive collective UNLOGISTIC stack their «pop»ish disgust, but this fatal year marks an unprecedented invigorating turning point : The machines bludgeon the bass and the drums —Drum & Bass ?— ; The guitars strafe everything that moves, and it wriggles severely. Pathetic moans and other voices, choruses in heart multiply, with many eclectic, energetic vocal guests. The sound is raw, compact, dry, soft & hard —HardCore ?—. They brutalize their melodies ; They sing their cries. They copy their elders without ever really succeeding in plagiarizing them… Eh eh  !

This VINYL+CD object relentlessly spits 15 noisy & hasty firebugs attacks with fiery derision and combative pessimism < > 17 minutes in vain, finally ← The fist raised towards nothingness →
